Product strategy, from market research to go-to-market.

Deep Node Studios’ product strategy practice in Istanbul helps companies decide what to build, who it’s for and how it will make money, before they spend on development.

What we answer

The questions to settle before you build.

  1. Is there a market, and how big is it?
  2. Who exactly is the customer, and what do they pay for today?
  3. Which business model and pricing will work?
  4. How do we reach the first customers?
  5. What’s the smallest product that proves it?

What you get

Outputs you can decide on.

Agreed before we start. Depending on the engagement:

  • Market and competitor research
  • Customer interviews and what they told us
  • Business model and unit-economics model
  • Go-to-market plan: target segment, positioning, channels, pricing and launch
  • Product roadmap and first-release scope
  • A clear recommendation: build, change course, or stop

Formats

Two ways to work together.

Strategy engagement

A scoped engagement that takes one product or market question from research to a recommendation and a plan.

Ongoing advisory

Growth, pricing and product questions after launch, worked through with you by the hour. No package lock-in.

From plan to build

When the plan says build, the same team builds it.

Most strategy work ends with a build plan: scope, technical approach, timeline and budget. You can take it to any team, including ours.

FAQ

Product strategy questions.

  • What does product strategy include?

Market and competitor research, customer interviews, the business model and pricing, the go-to-market plan, and the roadmap for the first release. Which parts we focus on depends on what is still uncertain for you.

  • How is product strategy different from a business plan?

A business plan describes the company. Product strategy decides the product: who it is for, what it must do first, how it reaches customers and how it makes money. It feeds straight into what gets built.

  • Can we hire you for strategy only?

Yes. Many engagements end with the plan. If you build with another team, the plan is written so they can use it.

  • Will you tell us not to build?

Yes, if that is what the research shows. Sometimes the right call is a smaller product, a different market, or not yet. It is cheaper to hear that before a build than after one.
